For over fifteen years, Redcliffe Musical Theatre has been the place where our community's young people find their voice, their tribe, and their confidence. Now we're asking for yours — two minutes of your time could help us secure a home for the next fifteen years and beyond.
Incorporated in 2010, Redcliffe Musical Theatre is a registered not-for-profit that has staged over eighty productions and developed hundreds of young performers, with the past decade based at Theatre 102.
Since 2021, RMT has spent over $500,000 at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre alone, directly supporting local jobs and the local economy. Add the smaller productions running year-round at Theatre 102, and RMT is delivering Moreton Bay and Brisbane families a genuine alternative to QPAC-calibre musical theatre — at a fraction of the cost.
Today, RMT stands as one of the region's largest and most active community arts organisations — and is ready for its next stage of growth.
Theatre 102 is being resumed by the Queensland State Government. Performances and classes continue without interruption. This moment brings a clear focus: it is time to secure a permanent, supported home.
Across the Moreton Bay region, performing arts organisations operate from council-supported venues under $1 per year lease arrangements. RMT deserves the same — and local, state, and federal representatives all have a role to play in making it happen.
